Having one such friend is indeed a
blessing. The person who has more than one friend of the heart…that person is wealthy
beyond imagination.
I have little in the way of
monetary riches, but I am wealthy nonetheless. I am blessed with friends I’ve known
from childhood, as well as new friends who fit so well into my life that they feel as though I’ve known them that
long.
To all of my
friends—and you know who you are—thank you for enriching my life!
That’s my take
on friendship. Here’s what a few folks better known than I have to say on the subject:
A friend is one of the nicest things you can have,
and one of the best things you can be.
—Douglas Pagels

A friend knows the song in my heart and sings it

The best kind of friend is the one you could sit on a porch with, never saying a word, and walk away feeling like that was the best conversation you've had.

Great stuff,
isn’t it? J I do love my friends, and I’m
so grateful that they’ve honored me by accepting me into their circle of life.
Above all, I’m
thankful that I have a friend in Jesus…He’s everything to me!
James 2:23
(KJV)— And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and
it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
Delia, such a good post. When your F was going to be about friends, I immediatley thought about Jesus and how we can always count on Him night or day to always be there for us.
