Close your eyes and try to imagine a world without laughter…
 

Oh, please…open them! One can only take so much of a sight that sad.

Humor is so much more important than we sometimes realize. As far back as Bible times, laughter was considered good medicine. (See Proverbs 17:22) Finding the humorous in a situation makes even the toughest of moments more bearable. I tend to agree with the anonymous quote above: Every survival kit should include a sense of humor— because more than anything else, humor is important in the deep, dark, dangerous woods of life.

Even God laughs, and we should be like Him in every way. Ps 2:4—He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. God laughs at the enemy. Why? Why, because He knows the end of the story, and He’s well aware that the enemy LOSES. That’s cause for happy laughter!

Ps 37:12-13-The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

Laugh with God. He sees the end of your story too, and if you’re walking with Him, it ends well.
